Meet at Golden Gardens Park at 8:30am. The tour will occur on mostly level, maintained paths. The walk is a one-mile loop. There is no reliable, potable water on site, so please bring plenty. There is no restroom on site. Parking is available for free on the street next to the park.
These birding opportunities are intended to center women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ folks. We plan to bird for at least two hours. The forecast is calling for warm, partly cloudy conditions, so plan accordingly. Please check the forecast before the walk and bring appropriate gear to be comfortable (sun hat, sunscreen, bug spray, extra water, etc.). We will meet rain or shine.
