He talked a lot about feather iridescence and refracted light. Several people said that they had questions to ask but didn’t think of them until after the program had ended. This is your chance.

Dan Gleason offered his program about the colorful iridescence in birds’ plumage as well as in many other animals. You have undoubtedly seen the brilliant flash from a male Anna’s Hummingbird’s throat as he turns his head to display toward you (with a potential mate behind you!), but have you noticed the shimmering purplish color on the back of a Brewer’s Blackbird?
