Third Saturday Birding Apr 18
This month’s 3rd Saturday Bird Outing will be at Lane Community College on April 18 at 8:00am. It will be led by Gerry Meenaghan. This walk has a variety of habitats and has been a wonderful walk in previous years, averaging 50-60 species of birds. We will meet at the LCC 30th Avenue campus located at 4000 E. 30th Ave. Eugene, OR 97405. 
See map of the LCC campus. We will meet on the south side of Building 16. Participants can park freely in Lot L. The walk will be about two miles in length and will go from the forested southeast corner of campus to the northwest corner wetlands around the sewage ponds. Most of the walk will be on flat asphalt or dirt roads, though there are a couple short, steep slopes on gravel or bark/dirt. Restroom access cannot be guaranteed on a Saturday, though it is possible that some buildings with restrooms will be open and accessible. We hope to see you there, rain or shine!

Program Meetings
Our monthly program meetings have something for everyone. During the last year we hosted programs by naturalists, wildlife artists and expert birders on a variety of topics from the birds of Hawaii, to ravens, wolves, and people, to the migration of red knots. Participating in a program meeting is a fun way to get involved with Coast to Cascades Bird Alliance. Meetings are free and open to all.
We are currently meeting on Zoom and in-person as conditions allow on the 4th Tuesday of each month between September and May at 7:00 p.m.
