Third Saturday Birding June 20

This outing will be at the McKenzie River Trust Willamette Confluence project. Meet there at 8:00am. Note that the gate will be locked 5 minutes after our meeting time, and the property is closed except for organized tours, so no latecomers will be able to get in.
We do have a port-a-potty onsite. Total walk will be about 2 miles over 2 hours, mostly on flat gravel roads.

To find the turn-off: On Seavey Loop Road, continue east about 0.4 miles – as the road straightens out and you pass a “SPEED 40” sign and the first open field on your right, you will see 7 ponderosa pines lining the right side of the road. At the seventh pine, turn LEFT (NORTH) onto a gravel drive that leads to a low metal gate about 100 yards north. We will meet you here. If you pass a giant pink flamingo on your left, you have gone too far!

Program Meetings
Our monthly program meetings have something for everyone. During the last year we hosted programs by naturalists, wildlife artists and expert birders on a variety of topics from the birds of Hawaii, to ravens, wolves, and people, to the migration of red knots. Participating in a program meeting is a fun way to get involved with Coast to Cascades Bird Alliance. Meetings are free and open to all.
We are currently meeting on Zoom and in-person as conditions allow on the 4th Tuesday of each month between September and May at 7:00 p.m.
