First Saturday Birding on Tues 7/7/26

Our next bird outing will be a special evening event taking place on Tuesday, July 7th, at 6 PM. These birding opportunities are intended to center women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ folks. We will be joined at this outing by representatives from our own local queer summer camp, Glimmer Camp!

We will be meeting at Wild Iris Ridge here

Parking is along a residential street. We will meet at the trailhead and bird along improved, but unpaved trails in the area. Terrain is mixed and hilly with some elevation gain. We will likely cover about 2 miles. There are no restrooms in the area.

We plan to be birding for about 2 hours. There is no sun coverage or shade on the route. The current forecast is warm and dry, so please plan accordingly. This means bringing adequate water, sun protection, bug spray, and anything else you may need to be comfortable. We will meet rain or shine.
