Native Plant Enthusiasm Gaining Momentum

On February 15, approximately 75 people attended a “Native Plant Community Discussion” at United Lutheran Church in Eugene, organized by local native plant enthusiast, Jan Jamieson. Collaborators included CCBA Board member Hannah Englishof Friends of Buford Park and Mt. Pisgah; Barbara Bryson, CCBA Board vice-president and Habitat Haven manager; restoration experts Alan and Janet Butler;and Greg Oldson of Landwise Landscape Design. Many local plant and habitat experts answered questions and provided information to a receptive crowd. Folks are already excited about the next native plant discussion, coming Saturday, September 26.
