Thanks to Dennis Arendt

Dennis Arendt stepped up to the task of Program Coordinator beginning May 2018, eight years ago!! We extend a heartfelt thank you to Dennis for his many contributions in that role. During the eight ensuing years, he helped us begin and continue to provide the Zoom portion of the programs. This has allowed many people who can’t, or don’t wish to, leave home at night to share our fascinating programs thereby expanding our audience and our outreach.

Dennis has an array of talents that really showed up in all that he did—networking with people, scheduling and organizing to line up our program meetings, getting speakers connected and ready to go, fashioning warm introductions, and skillfully editing the recordings of the presentations. He arranged for speakers that were interesting, entertaining, and enlightening.

Dennis is retiring in his role as program coordinator. We are thrilled that Dennis will continue to produce “Interviews with Friends” and hope he continues to provide insight to us as unofficial board advisor.

As an urgent side note, we appeal to members to join our program committee. One or more individuals will be needed to keep those programs coming.
