Wings on Willamette Bird Festival: A Celebration of World Migratory Bird Day

A little drizzle couldn’t stop us!

Several local environmental organizations joined Coast to Cascades Bird Alliance for a fun, if damp, day at Alton Baker Park on October 12 to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day and to support our Bird City Eugene initiative. Kudana marimba band brought smiles and dancing feet, while kids’ activities as well as a fun bird trivia game were well attended. ZaCart pizza even brought coffee along with delicious pizza to fight the chill.
